This social networking firm to reopen offices, to allow ‘WFH full-time forever’

Twitter chief Parag Aggarwal announced in a series of tweets on Friday that the social networking company will reopen its global offices this month, giving people the option to work remotely if they wish, as many businesses battle the Covid-19 pandemic. After the spread of 19 had closed its offices. ,

Advocating a return to the office as it fostered a vibrant company culture, Agarwal said business travel became effective immediately, and all global Twitter offices would open from March 15, noting, “Where do you work? “The decisions about whether you feel safe, are traveling for business, and what events you attend should be yours.”

The Twitter CEO told employees to work from wherever they feel most productive and creative, adding that this includes “forever WFH full-time.” Emphasizing that those who want to continue working remotely will need to “learn and adapt”, noting that “working with distributed will be much harder.”

As the world grapples with the Covid-19 pandemic, the chances of a return to offices were slim. However, with the situation now stable, Google is also preparing for employees to return to their Silicon Valley offices in early April, with the expectation that they will only work from home two days a week.

Tech company campuses were abandoned early in the pandemic as the spread of Covid-19 caused a social shift to working remotely. According to US media reports, this month Google is planning to help employees adapt to “hybrid” schedules in combination with working remotely and in offices.
