A woman from Kerala’s Kannur district has been proudly waving her mustache for years. And, despite being asked repeatedly to do so, he has no plans to shave.

Shayza, 35, decided to grow hair on her upper lip, unlike most women. The thin hair soon turned into a visible mustache that pleased him. “I can’t imagine living without it now. When the Covid pandemic started, I didn’t like wearing a mask all the time because it covered my face,” Shayza said BBC,

According to Shyama, she does not want to make a statement wearing a mustache, but wants to live life on her own terms. “I just do what I love. If I had two lives, I might have lived for each other,” she said.

Shyama’s mustache has now become a part of her life, which she keeps with impunity. He said onmanorama That people often used to make fun of him about his look. But, Shyama did not remove the moustache as she is in love with it.

Shyama said that even her husband or family members don’t mind her mustache and she doesn’t care what others say about her look.

The report said that Shyama had undergone hysterectomy surgery five years ago. In all, she has had six surgeries in a decade.

One surgery was done to remove the cyst from her ovary, while the other involved removing a lump from her breast.

These health problems only strengthened Shyama and her belief that she should live life on her own terms. Shyama insists that she has built up a lot of confidence and now wants her daughter to inherit this attitude from her, the report said.
