Three-day education fair in Kolkata for admission to engineering, technical colleges

An official said that the fair, organized by Association of Professional Academic Institutions, is being organized this year in hybrid mode, thus enabling students to participate in the sessions physically as well as in virtual mode.

West Bengal Urban Development Minister Firhad Hakim on Wednesday inaugurated a three-day pre-counselling fair for online admissions in engineering and technical colleges.

An official said that the fair, organized by Association of Professional Academic Institutions, is being organized this year in hybrid mode, thus enabling students to participate in the sessions physically as well as in virtual mode.

Hakim, who is also the Mayor of Kolkata, inaugurated the fair at the Netaji Indoor Stadium here. Speaking at the inauguration, State Industries, Commerce and Enterprise Minister Shashi Panja said, “West Bengal has always focused on quality education and such initiatives educate more and more youth about new courses and career options. will help.”
