TNEA Counselling 2024: Those who have been selected in the list can either accept and choose upward movement, or decline and opt out of the counselling session
The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024 counselling provisional seat allotment result for BArch course today, August 22. Candidates who applied for the BArch counselling can check their results through the official website at tneaonline.org.
Those who have been selected from the list can either accept and choose upward movement, or decline and opt out of the counselling session. Those who accept seats must download the allocation letter, report to their designated institutes, complete the admissions process, and pay the applicable costs. The application cost must be paid by the candidates to reserve their seats.
The provisional seat allotment has been released for those who confirmed their tentative allotment on August 21. Such students need to physically report to the assigned colleges and complete the document verification process by August 26, 2024. The remaining students who have confirmed the tentative allotment but have not been selected in the provisional seat allotment result have been requested to wait until August 28.
“Provisional allotment has been released for those who had confirmed their tentative allotment with the “I accept and confirm the current allotment” option, we request you to log in and download the provisional allotment order and report to the respective college on or before 26-08-2024,” reads the official notice by TNEA.

Step 2. On the home page, click the link for ‘TNEA Counselling 2024 Tentative Allotment Result For BArch’
Step 3. Enter your login credentials.
Step 4. The seat allocation list will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5. Download and save the page.
Step 6. Take a print out for future reference.
Admissions to government and government-aided engineering institutions, as well as university departments and constituent colleges of Anna University and Annamalai University, are facilitated by TNEA 2024.
