TN TET 2022 notification was released on 7th March and application registration will start today on the official website – http://trb.tn.nic.in/.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Teacher Eligibility Test, Paper – I & Paper – II for the year 2022 through online mode. One of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any state school a candidate must possess. Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). TET will be conducted by the state government as per the guidelines laid down by the NCTE.

TN TET 2022: Eligibility
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 OR Passed. or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). or
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). or
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
TN TET 2022: Exam Fee
Exam Fee Rs. 500/- for all candidates except SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability. The examination fee for SC, SCA, ST and PWD candidates is Rs. 250/-. Since the examination fee is different for different categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct Community/Persons with Disability category. Once payment is made, it will not be refunded.
TN TET 2022: How to Apply Online
a) Candidates should apply through online mode only on TRB website http://www.trb.tn.nic.in
b) Use separate application for Paper-I and Paper-II.
c) Candidates should ensure that they have recent scanned color passport size photograph (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of 20-60 kb size) and signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of 10-30 kb size) k) are different.
The online application should be uploaded with complete details along with photograph and signature of the candidate.
d) A valid e-mail id and mobile number is mandatory for registration and e-mail id should be kept active till the declaration of result.
