To woo government employees in Himachal, BJP to expose Congress promises status in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh

It promises to be the most exciting election battle in the hills in recent times. BJP has entered the fray from many rallies of PM Narendra Modi. Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP had a strong start, but lately it has focused most of its attention on Gujarat. The Congress campaign rests on the shoulders of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, but the pace is yet to pick up. News18 Himachal Pradesh visits the state to assess public sentiments and political strategies ahead of the 2022 elections.

In Himachal Pradesh, with the Congress taking up issues like government jobs, pension schemes and inflation to the voters, the ruling BJP plans to blunt the opposition’s campaign.

Along with various teams working on social media and communication strategy, top ministers of the Jai Ram Thakur government and senior state BJP leaders reached out to voters, especially government employees, to expose the “false promises” being made by the Congress. started.

“If the central government cannot do this, then no one in the country will be able to implement the old pension scheme. Therefore, if it is to be implemented, then only the party which has the government at the center can do it. I don’t think Congress can form the government at the Center now,” said Suresh Bhardwaj, Law Minister in the state government.

However, fearing that the Congress story on the issues may affect a certain percentage of voters, the BJP is questioning the viability of promises made by Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at her first election rally in Solan.

Responding to Priyanka Gandhi’s promise of giving a government job if the Congress comes to power in the state, Bhardwaj said: “They have not seen the functioning of the government. his may be a Royal Family Its going on Rajwada-Shahi In the name of democracy, but they have little knowledge of how governments work.”

“Positions are created in the government on the basis of work and budget. Promising a government job in the first meeting shows that they are not serious about forming the government or they know that they are not winning. They just want to make false promises. Those who want to form the government will look after everything from the resources of the state to the welfare of different sections of the society.

Himachal Pradesh BJP President Suresh Kashyap said that the voting takes place in the state after due deliberation. He said, ‘Congress had kept the age of 80 years for pension. Earlier half of the senior citizens died. BJP has reduced it to 60 years.

BJP’s election management committee chairman Rajiv Bindal said that if Congress is promising old pension scheme in Himachal Pradesh, why has it not implemented it in the states where it is in power.

Bhardwaj agreed to the advice of his party colleague. “Congress has Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel as its main campaigner in Himachal Pradesh. He has announced old pension scheme in his state, but has he been able to implement it? Ashok Gehlot was in the race for the post of Congress President and he is the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Have they implemented the scheme there?”

“How can they implement the old pension scheme in an already debt-ridden state? Making announcements is one thing, fulfilling promises is another. We are only making promises that we can fulfill. Congress’s Virbhadra Singh said that he would give a government job to every household. Was he able to do this? Indira Gandhi gave the slogan remove the poor, Is poverty over? Priyanka Gandhi should tell why the Chhattisgarh government is not implementing the old pension scheme.

Meanwhile, the BJP plans to take the initiatives of the Center and the state to government employees, who form a significant part of the state’s electorate.

“The state government has implemented Punjab pay scale and resolved the issues of teachers even though the government recruited them. The SMC teachers were left in a tizzy and we did whatever we could for them. We gave UGC scale to teachers before anyone else,” said a senior BJP leader.
