The Lakhimpur Kheri Court has refused bail to Alt News co-founder Mohammad Zubair in a case filed for ‘promoting enmity’.
In Kheri, an FIR was registered against Zubair at the Mohammadi police station on September 18, 2021, for a tweet he had posted earlier in May. In the tweet, Zubair had tagged the Noida Police and UP DGP, expressing concern about the ‘misleading’ news shown by a channel. He had demanded action against it.
