1. A day after the BJP released the first list of 189 candidates for the Karnataka Assembly polls, former Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi today announced in Belagavi that he has decided to quit the BJP after being denied a ticket. He gives importance to the decision of the people of Athani constituency rather than ‘any party high command’.
