Truecaller comes to iOS with better caller ID and spam alerts
Called ID app Truecaller has launched a new iOS update that brings better spam detection, faster performance, quicker onboarding and a crunch app size. The new update comes just a day after Truecaller got a major relief from the Supreme Court in a data privacy lawsuit.

The app update mainly comes to improve the overall performance of the app. Truecaller has revamped the iOS app’s code base to take better advantage of Apple’s CallKit API. The company has said that the new version can store 10 times bigger list in the phone for quick locating of callers.
Truecaller has also said that as more and more people use the new version, the local caller ID will increase. The list is updated every three days for free users and every day for premium users.
Donald Trump’s social media app faces scrutiny from Google
Truth Social, the social media platform launched by Donald Trump to counter Twitter, is yet to get approval from the Google Play Store and the former US president’s company was working “in good faith with Google”.
Google has notified Truth Social of “multiple violations of standard policies in their current app submissions”, reiterating that “there should be an effective system for moderating user-generated content for any app live on Google Play”. to be a condition of our Terms of Service”.
It said the Truth Social Android app complies with Google’s policies without compromising on its promise of being “a haven for free speech”.
