Travel to Germany: The New Gourmet Paradise on the Foodie’s Radar

Traveling to Europe has been on every foodie’s bucket list. Germany is one such country which is becoming an extremely popular travel destination especially for Indians. The country boasts of traditional cuisine, regional products, farm-to-table cuisine and creative chefs. Germany mixes the old with the new in a way that makes for some truly amazing food.

Apart from the local cuisine, Germany also has great dining options. Schanz restaurant in Piesport has recently been awarded the coveted three Michelin stars. Berlin remains the gourmet capital with more than twenty-four Michelin-starred restaurants, while Munich has sixteen. There are also many varieties of beer and wine in different cities, shaped by a love of tradition and a desire to try something new.
