COVID-19 Travel Updates: French Ambassador to India Emmanuel Lenin on Thursday announced that India is now on the green list for travel to France, noting that fully vaccinated travelers from India can enter France without any restrictions. and travelers who are not fully vaccinated require only a pre-departure negative test.

Lenin shared on Twitter, “Happy to announce that India is now on the green list for travel to France! Fully vaccinated travelers can enter France without any restrictions. Not fully vaccinated, they only need to test negative before departure.”

The French embassy in India said with further details, public health measures apply to all travelers leaving or entering France. In addition, restrictions on access to French territory are in place, depending on the country of departure of passengers.

“The conditions for entering France will depend on your country of departure and your vaccination status. As of March 3, 2022, India is on the “green” list of countries.. Children below 12 years are exempted from these requirements.”

“These requirements shall not apply to: travel by residents of cross-border areas (within a 30 km radius of your residence, and for a duration of less than 24 hours); work-related trips, of which immediate or continuous nature makes them incompatible with these tests; Travels by passengers carrying out their work.
