But there is a perception that TRS is closer to BJP. That notion has to go now. It is time,” he told TOI.

What was even more interesting was that the TRS, which had largely distanced itself from the opposition faction, joined the strategy session convened by the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, which was attended by Rao.
It remains to be seen how the opposition, especially the Congress, which is directly fighting the party in Telangana and doubts its intentions, sees the TRS’s change in stance.
The Congress bid to appear in favor of normal proceedings came a day after party MPs told the leadership at a meeting that they should participate in the discussion as disruptions were robbing people of opportunities to raise their issues. The Congress had planned only a symbolic walkout on Tuesday. Gogoi tweeted: “Lok Sabha adjourned again due to TRS MPs. Meanwhile, Congress and other opposition parties want important issues facing the country to be discussed inside Parliament.
