Former President Donald Trump said his Mar-a-Lago property in Florida was raided by FBI agents on Monday, August 8, 2022, amid a US Justice Department investigation into the removal of Mr. official presidential record For Palm Beach Estate.

The Justice Department launched an early-stage investigation into the removal of records from Trump’s Florida estate, a source familiar with the matter said in April.

The investigation came after the US National Archives and Records Administration informed Congress in February that it had recovered about 15 boxes of White House documents, some of which contained classified material, from Mr Trump’s Florida home.
