TV actor Tejashwi Prakash is the winner of Bigg Boss 15

Due to his popularity as a TV star, Tejashwi Prakash entered the show as a favorite title.

TV star Tejashwi Prakash on Saturday emerged as the winner of the reality show “Bigg Boss” season 15 by defeating actor-model Prateek Sahajpal.

Ms. Prakash, known for starring on “”Swargini – Suri of couple relationships“Took home the Bigg Boss trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 40 lakh.

The winner was announced by the show’s host superstar Salman Khan.

Mr. Sahajpal was the first runner-up, while Ms. Prakash’s actor-boyfriend Karan Kundrra came third.

Actress Shamita Shetty finished fourth, while choreographer Nishant Bhat pulled out of the race for the final with Rs 10 lakh and finished fifth.

Ms. Prakash entered the show as a favorite title due to her popularity as a TV star.

The 28-year-old actor was known to display his competitive and fierce side. During the show, Ms. Prakash fell in love with Mr. Kundra and the pair became a fan favorite.

Mr. Sahajpal, who was one of the finalists of “Bigg Boss OTT” last year, remained popular throughout the show as well.

At the grand finale, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone along with co-stars Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dheerya Karva promoted her upcoming film “Ghehraiyaan”.

Former Bigg Boss winners including Gauahar Khan, Urvashi Dholakia, Gautam Gulati, Rubina Dilaik and Shweta Tiwari also attended the finale.

One of the highlights of the finale was “Bigg Boss” 13 finalist Shehnaaz Gill paying tribute to her late partner Sidharth Shukla, who was the winner of the said season. Siddharth Shukla passed away last year.

Both Ms. Gill and Mr. Khan clearly got emotional and hugged remembering Sidharth Shukla. At one point, Khan asked the “Bigg Boss” crew for a tissue as she and Ms. Gill could not hold back their tears.

Mr Khan, who has always been Ms Gill’s darling, said it was a very difficult time for him and Sidharth Shukla’s mother.

“I keep talking to Siddharth’s mother. It’s time to move on. You have a bright, beautiful future. Do lots of good things and be happy,” he told Ms. Gill.
