Alex Outhwaite, who is visiting Tamil Nadu, was gifted a gajra by a flower seller in Madurai.
British television presenter Alex Outhwaite is well known for his travel content. His extensive travel videos almost always gain quite a bit of traction on the internet. This time is no different. Alex, on his trip to Tamil Nadu, meets an elderly woman in what looks like a market area. A clip shared by him on Twitter showed Alex sitting with his back to the smiling woman. She tucks a bun in Alex’s hair and the two share a heartwarming smile. The clip was shot in Madurai and the two were also seen having a conversation while the elderly woman adorned the TV presenter’s hair with fresh flowers.
People warmly welcomed Alex Outhwaite in his tweet. Many commented that they hope she enjoys her stay in India. Others shared some of the places she could make her next stop. The TV presenter further shared that the person heard off-screen apparently trying to pin the gajra to the elderly woman properly. Was asking for it so that it does not fall.

Meanwhile, some were worried that Alex was duped into paying too much for the gajra. One tweet read, “I hope she didn’t charge you a bomb for this. Otherwise, it sounds like a really warm, healthy moment.” Another user protested that flowers were too expensive this season .
