Bollywood songs can encapsulate myriad emotions and events of life. However, a creative on Twitter took the art of Bollywood lyricism to the adorable cats and their world. The famous romantic song ‘Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha’ from the 2004 Farah Khan directorial ‘Main Hoon Na’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Sushmita Sen has inspired Twitter handle @atang_waddi to make a love story starring adorable felines.

On Saturday, a Twitter user shared a series of tweets that showed the various stages of a love story that blossomed between two cats. Each picture from the cat love story was captioned with lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar for the song composed by Anu Malik. The first picture shows the cat peeping out and possibly looking at the second cat that has captured his heart. The caption of this picture was the first line of the main verse of the song sung by Abhijit Bhattacharya and Shreya Ghoshal, “Tumhe jo maine dekha.”

The following thread shows a headshot of a white cat with animations of blushing pink on its cheeks and big cute eyes, as the song reads, “Tumhe Jo Maine Jaana.” The next line of the song which reads “Jo Hosh Tha Woh Toh Gaya” was accompanied by a picture of a cat who was quite shocked and about to lose her sanity as the song described. With these adorable pictures, relaying the meaning of the song’s lyrics, the Twitter user showed how even felines can lead a romantic life if one has one’s eye. The first tweet in the thread has been liked by over 4.2k tweets and retweeted by over 1.1k users since being shared on the microblogging site last weekend.

Cat lovers and Bollywood fans alike are also impressed by this creativity. One of the users expressed his desire to have pictures of his cats turned into a similar Bollywood story, as he wrote, “Oh my god! I wish I had done something similar for my cat pictures. Until then.” Another user hailed this Twitter thread as “the best,” as she retweeted, “Best thread ever just pofect.”

For some, this Twitter thread was more intimate than Shah Rukh and Sushmita’s dance as this user tweeted, “Why did it feel more intimate than Shah Rukh-Sushmita dancing together.”
