Two BJP people arrested for assaulting a person. Coimbatore News – Times of India

Tirupur: Rural police on Thursday arrested two BJP functionaries for allegedly assaulting a man during a human chain protest organized by the BJP to condemn the security violations amid Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Punjab. Police have registered a case against five more BJP office-bearers in the matter.
Those arrested have been identified as Ramesh, an office-bearer of BJP’s youth wing in Vadugapalayam, and Rajkumar, in-charge of BJP’s Palladam Sangh. “The duo along with five BJP members assaulted fruit vendor Muthusamy for making derogatory remarks against Modi during the human chain protest in front of Palladam bus stand on Wednesday,” a police officer said.
Police have also registered a case against Muthusamy in connection with the incident.
