Two people die by suicide in separate cases in Mumbai’s Mankhurd

Two people died in separate cases in Mumbai’s Mankhurd on Tuesday as a 22-year-old and a 40-year-old allegedly hanged themselves.

There have been two separate incidents of death by suicide in Mankhurd, Mumbai. A police officer said on Tuesday that one belonged to a 22-year-old man while the other was of a 40-year-old man.

Hrithik Kadam (22) allegedly died by suicide at his house in Annabhau Sathe Nagar and was found hanging on Monday night. According to a PTI report, the officer said that he was suffering from depression.

Businessman Rashid Ansari (40) allegedly hanged himself after facing losses in his business. According to the police officer, he was also found hanging at his house in PMG Colony.

The police have registered two accidental death reports (ADRs) and the cases are being probed, the official said.
