Suzuki Motorcycle India’s domestic sales stood at 58,603 units while exports touched 13,597 units
Suzuki Motorcycle India has released the monthly sales figures for February 2022, during which the company’s total sales (domestic + exports) stood at 72,200 units. Compared to 71,662 vehicles sold during the same month in 2021, the Japanese two-wheeler maker’s sales performance remained almost flat last month, showing a year-on-year growth of less than 1 per cent. However, as compared to 70,092 two-wheelers sold in January 2022, Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a month-on-month growth of over 3 per cent.

Commenting on the sales performance, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, suzuki motorcycle india Pvt Ltd said, “Despite the ongoing semi-conductor availability constraints, we continue our growth momentum in the month of February 2022. We are experiencing a strong demand from both the domestic and export markets. Hence, we remain cautious. We are optimistic that as we enter the new financial year, semiconductor availability will improve, and we will be able to fully meet customer demand.”

In February 2022, Suzuki Motorcycle India sales stood at 58,603 units from the domestic market alone. The company saw a marginal decline of 1.5 per cent year-on-year in February 2021 as compared to 59,530 two-wheelers sold in India. At the same time, the company also exported 13,597 two-wheelers from India in February 2022. Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a growth of over 12 per cent as compared to 12,132 units exported in February 2021.
