TVS Motor Company A total of 347,156 units were dispatched in September 2021, an increase of 6 per cent as compared to 327,692 units in September 2020. Total two-wheeler sales also witnessed a growth of 6 per cent with 332,511 units sold in September 2021 as against 313,332 units sold. In September 2020, TVS recorded domestic two-wheeler sales of 244,084 units in September 2021 as against 241,762 units sold in September 2020. With the easing of pandemic restrictions and the festive season approaching soon, TVS expects retail sales to improve significantly in the coming months.

TVS motorcycle sales registered a growth of 19 per cent with 166,046 units sold in September 2021 as compared to 139,698 units sold in September 2020. The company recorded sales of 104,091 units of the scooter in September 2021 as against 103,877 units sold in September 2020. The company’s total exports in September 2021 registered a growth of 20 per cent with sales of 102,259 units as against 85,163 units sold in September 2020. Two-wheeler exports registered a growth of 24 per cent in September 2021 with sales of 88,427 units. Sales of 71,570 units in September 2020. TVS registered a growth of 2 per cent with 14,645 three-wheelers sold in September 2021 as against 14,360 units sold in September 2020.

In the second quarter of the current financial year, TVS registered a growth of 4 per cent in two-wheeler sales with 8.70 lakh units sold as against 8.34 lakh units in the second quarter of FY 20-21. TVS three-wheelers registered a growth of 41 per cent with sales of 0.47 lakh units in the second quarter of the current year as against 0.33 lakh units in the second quarter of FY 20-21.
