UAE-based META4 to set up electric 2-wheeler manufacturing plant in Telangana: Details explained – Times of India

United Arab Emirates based group meta4 has announced that it will set up a new electric two-wheeler manufacturing plant TelanganaThe company has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana. As per the MoU, the government will provide 15 acres of concessional land to the company in the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone in Zaheerabad, Telangana.
META4 has done this through investment volt energy which claims to provide advanced EV Two Wheeler Manufacturing and provide energy-efficient EV charging solutions for all electrified vehicles. META4 will invest around Rs 250 crore to set up this special electric 2W plant in the state of Telangana.
The company says the new manufacturing plant will feature major automation integration including the latest semi-robotics and state-of-the-art construction machinery. In addition, the plant will help in creating around 500 direct and 2000 indirect jobs in the state. Voltly Energy also aims to expand its Make in India product line, and will also manufacture batteries and charging stations at the plant.
“With this investment with the Government of Telangana, META4 intends to bring quality driven EVs to the Indian market as per the FAME 2 approvals laid down by the Regulatory Authority of India, and this will simultaneously enable the space towards a stronger economic drive in electric mobility, ” Told, muzammil riaziGroup CEO, META4.
