Ubisoft announces three new Assassin’s Creed games, Infinity Hub

With several projects in development, Assassin’s Creed is changing in the coming years. At the Ubisoft Forward event on Saturday – early Sunday in India – the publisher unveiled a pinnacle into the future of the franchise through a distilled roadmap. Assassin’s Creed announcements include a standalone mobile game set in China, a codenamed Hex title set during witch trials, and the previously leaked Project Red set in the long-requested setting of feudal Japan. At the center of these attractions is Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which is described as a live-service platform for upcoming entries.

Assassin’s Creed Red/Japan

On Large scale leaks and speculation Later, Assassins Creed Codename Red is now official. With this entry, players will be sent to the heart of feudal Japan, where they master the art and weaponry of shinobi. As Ubisoft’s next premium flagship title, it will feature the open-world RPG elements that have been trademarked in recent entries. The title is being developed by the Quebec division of Ubisoft – known for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey — Directed by Jonathan Dumont. More details regarding the same will be available in time.

In the meantime, what is Ubisoft’s Montreal team working on? described As in “the darkest Assassin’s Creed game ever”. Codenamed Hex is set in the later stages of the Holy Roman Empire, particularly during the witch trials of the 16th century, and is led by creative director Clint Hawking, best known for the early Splinter Cell games. Ubisoft released a teaser for the same, in which an A-shaped amulet hangs from branches in a misty forest. during PresentationCote called it “a very different type of Assassin’s Creed game”.

Set in 215 BC ancient China, Codename Z is the first Assassin’s Creed open-world game to grace mobile devices — Android and iOS, we believe — featuring core gameplay mechanics from mainline games. Players can park atop the Great Wall of China, explore bustling cities, engage in intense warfare, and even send a drone bird to survey locations.
