Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray party on Tuesday alleged that voters were being paid to opt for none of the above or NOTA option in the Andheri East assembly by-poll on November 3 in the city.

“On one hand, the BJP withdrew its candidate saying that it respects the tradition of not fielding candidates against family members of deceased MPs. On the other hand, people are being asked to vote for NOTA,” Parab said.

She expressed confidence that Latte would get 98-99 per cent of the votes and said that she would complete the tasks which were left unfinished due to the death of her husband.

Parab said the constituency has issues like connectivity to eastern and western suburbs as it is a major commercial hub, with several slum rehabilitation authority projects pending in the area.
