UGC NET December session result to be released soon at ugcnet.nta.nic.in, here’s how to check

UGC NET 2023: Candidates need to login using their respective registration number and password or date of birth to check their result

University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) The result for December session will be released soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Once the result is declared, candidates who appeared for the exam can check their scorecard on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in or ntaresults.nic.in. To access the results, candidates need to log in using their respective registration number and password or date of birth.

As per media reports, NTA will release the UGC NET 2023 result (December session) sometime this week. NTA dropped a total of 85 questions from all UGC NET December session papers final answer key It was made available on 6 April. The final answer key was released after the objections raised by the candidates.

UGC NET 2023 (December session) result: How to check

Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the UGC NET 2023 result link which will be on the homepage after the declaration of result.

Step 3: Login using the credentials like UGC NET Application Number and Date of Birth (DoB). Further, enter the Security Pin or Captcha code and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 4: NTA UGC NET 2023 scorecard will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check, save and download the scorecard.

Step 6: Take a printout of the result for future reference or use.

The December session of the National Eligibility Test was conducted from February 21 to March 16 in five phases. It was conducted for 83 subjects at 663 centers across the country. A total of 8,34,537 students appeared for the NTA UGC NET this year.

UGC NET 2023 (December Session) Qualifying Criteria:

General category candidates must have secured at least 40 percent marks in both the papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. While reserved categories candidates need to score at least 35 per cent marks to clear UGC NET. Candidates must clear each paper individually and also in aggregate.

Both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor posts are filled through UGC NET, which is conducted in many universities and colleges across the country. Individuals who meet the requirements to become an assistant professor will be eligible to teach at several universities and colleges across the country. UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year, first in June and second in December.
