Bareilly: A British passport holder – who arrived in India on 24 November – tested positive for COVID, but managed to leave the country on 4 December after receiving a negative report from a private lab in Bareilly.
SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan said: “We will take action once the complaint is registered by the health department.”
The first sample of a person born in Bareilly and working in the UK was taken on December 3 and the report came on the same night. However, as per the records of other labs, RT-PCR It was collected on December 4 at 9 am and the report came by 11 am. His swab collected by the first lab on December 6 was sent to Lucknow for further testing and the report came back positive.
