Kyiv:

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday that Russia has launched attacks on infrastructure on a “very broad” scale and promised that his military would improve on its already good record of downing missiles with the help of its allies.

“The geography of this latest mass strike is very broad,” Zelensky said in his nightly video address, referring to the regions of western, central and southern Ukraine.

“Of course we do not have the technical capability to shoot down 100 percent Russian missiles and strike drones. I am sure that, gradually, we will achieve this with the help of our allies. Already, we are reducing the majority. Of cruise missiles, most of them are drones.”
