“I have a message for you today: Ukraine will win, Ukraine will be free,” Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Tuesday, announcing £300 million ($376 million, 358 million euros) in military aid for Ukraine.

Johnson described the country’s fight against Russia as the ‘best of times’.
“We will continue to supply Ukraine … with weapons, funding and humanitarian aid, until we achieve our long-term goal, which should be to strengthen Ukraine such that no one dares to attack you again,” he told the Verkhovna Rada.
Johnson’s military aid to Ukraine included electronic warfare equipment and a counter-battery radar system, saying Britain would continue to supply Ukraine.
Johnson said that in his fight against RussiaUkraine had “exploded the myth of (President Vladimir) Putin’s invincibility”.
“The so-called irresistible power of Putin’s war machine has broken the immovable object of Ukrainian patriotism and patriotism,” he said.

The Russian military says they have resumed attacks on the Azovstal steel plant in the port city of Mariupol.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reiterated his call to the world to exclude Russia from all international financial and trade systems.
The leaders of Finland and Sweden have indicated that their governments have not yet decided to join NATO, but stressed closer security cooperation with other European countries to counter Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
