Ulhasnagar : Central Police Station Ulhasnagar Case filed against 4 people including a local businessman Ram Wadhwaand arrested one of them for putting banned mephedrone (MD) drugs inside a rival businessman’s scooter to falsely implicate him.
According to the police, 25 grams of MD medicine worth Rs 1.25 lakh was recovered from inside the scooter of local businessman Rajesh Talreja last month.
Police had initially registered a case against Talreja under relevant provisions on recovery Narcotic drugs and the Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Police said that during investigation they found that someone else had kept drugs inside Talreja’s scooter and the CCTV footage got a role in the investigation and investigation. Rahul Sharma Who works in a two wheeler workshop in the city.
Mahesh Ralebhat, Assistant Inspector of Police, Central Police Station said, “Investigation has revealed that Sharma had smuggled drugs on the instructions of Ram Wadhwa and two others and as per the search we have booked four persons and arrested Sharma. Police sources said that there was some commercial dispute between Ram Wadhwa and Talreja and to teach him a lesson, Wadhwa used drugs.
