The Indian cricket team’s last two matches of the ongoing T20 series against West Indies in the United States are hanging in the balance as Cricket West Indies (CWI) plans to hold matches in the Caribbean due to visa issues. According to a report in Cricbuzz, members from both sides are yet to get their US visas, forcing CWI to come up with an alternative plan.
Central Broward Park, Lauderhill, Florida in the US, was allotted to host the Games on August 6 and 7, but reports suggest that several members of the Indian and West Indies teams have not received their US travel documents.
“The game is unlikely to take place in the Caribbean, but efforts are being made to resolve the visa issue,” a West Indies cricket source was quoted as saying by the website.
“Early information was that players would be handed US travel documents in St. Kitts where the teams have arrived. But there is a chance that players may have to go to Trinidad and from there to the US for visa documents if they get the all-clear.” CWI also confirmed the uncertainty over the Florida Games.

“While we continue to pursue the possibility of obtaining outstanding visas, options are being explored,” CWI President Ricky Skerritt told the website.
India are leading 1-0 in the five-match series, with the next two matches scheduled on 1 and 2 August at St.
