Una (Himachal Pradesh) [India]Union Minister Anurag Thakur said in a program on the foundation day of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday that India should unite to move forward.

He said, ‘We are celebrating 75 years of independence as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. India must be united and not divided to move forward,” the minister said.

Thakur was speaking at Garrett, Una at an event to mark the 75th year of the establishment of Himachal Pradesh, where he addressed a public meeting.

He said that a new era will be created in India with the vision of our PM and people’s cooperation.

He said, our Prime Minister has shown the right direction for India in the next 25 years at the Red Fort on this Independence Day.

Encouraging people to restore the country’s heritage, he further said, “Building a new age India means development as well as keeping alive the rich historical and cultural heritage.”

Earlier, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur launched the state level “Progressive Himachal” program to celebrate “75 years of formation of Himachal Pradesh”.

Today the CM of the state thanked the people of Himachal Pradesh and said that we have come a long way.

“I am grateful to all the residents of the state for bringing about change. Himachal Pradesh, there is a big difference 75 years ago and now, we have come a long way. The condition of roads, health system, schools, education and agriculture sectors have all developed,” Thakur said at the event. (ANI)
