‘Unnecessary remark’: Ajit Pawar hits out at Maharashtra Governor in presence of PM Modi India News – Times of India

New Delhi: In a clear dig Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Deputy Chief Minister of the state Ajit Pawar Said on Sunday that some people in high positions are making “unnecessary remarks” which is unacceptable.
Pawar made these remarks during the inauguration of various development projects in Pune in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Koshyari.
Pawar was apparently referring to a recent remark made by the Maharashtra governor in which he had said that Samarth Ramdas was Chhatrapati’s guru. Shivaji King.
Koshyari had said, “Who would give importance to Chandragupta without Chanakya? Who would give importance to Shivaji without Samarth? Shivaji or Chandragupta is not small but a Guru has a very important role in our society.”
on sunday, first PM ModiAddressing the public meeting, Pawar said, ‘I want to bring one thing to the notice of the Prime Minister. Recently, some people holding important positions are making unnecessary remarks which is not acceptable to Maharashtra and its citizens.”

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule (both social reformers from Maharashtra) laid the foundation of women’s education. Let us bring their legacy to hatred and politics. There is no need to move forward. Development works,” the NCP leader said.
Notably, several leaders of the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra have often clashed with Governor Koshyari over various issues.
