UP ITI Admissions 2024: Registration Begins, Check Important Dates – News18

There is good news for all the aspirants looking to enrol in Industrial Training Institute (ITI) courses in Uttar Pradesh. According to the guidelines from the Uttar Pradesh government, the registration process has begun in all ITI colleges. Students can register online for various ITI trades through the official website.

Admissions will be based on their merit. CP Aggarwal, the Nodal Principal of Government Industrial Training Saket, told Local18 that the State Council for Vocational Training, UP (SCVTUP) has started the registration process for ITI trade admissions online. Students can register until August 4. Based on these registrations, the Uttar Pradesh government will prepare and release a merit list, which will determine the admission process. Students are encouraged to register online as soon as possible without delay.

According to the Nodal Principal, six ITIs are operating in Meerut district, offering a total of 2,630 seats: 1,204 in Saket ITI, 396 in Sardhana, 272 in Kharkhoda, 220 in Bachha Park, 396 in Hastinapur and 172 in World Bank Women ITI. Saket ITI offers 28 trades, Sardhana 12, Kharkhoda 12, Bachha Park 9, Hastinapur 12, and World Bank Women 5 trades.

The student fee is Rs 40 per month. As per the merit list issued by the Uttar Pradesh government, all candidates whose names appear will be admitted to government ITIs. The fee for all trades is only Rs 40 per month, and students will need to deposit Rs 300 as caution money, which will be refunded after completing ITI. When registering, students can select up to 12 institutes.

Required documents for registration include an income certificate, caste certificate, domicile certificate, Aadhaar card, and passport-size photo. Saket ITI offers 28 different trades such as Turner, Fitter, Machinist, Electronic, Mechanical, Wireman, Motor Mechanic, Radiologist, Fashion designer, and Electrician. A high school and intermediate educational qualification is mandatory for admission. Youths can register online at www.scvtup.in with the necessary documents.
