The complainant, Rakesh Kumar Pasi, a resident of Raiyapur Bhadri (Kunda), alleged in his FIR that while he was performing his duty as the SP booth agent at booth no. 209, on polling day (27 February) at Raiyapur, Jansatta Dal booth agent Tinku Singh, who was at the same booth, got a call from outside and an unknown caller asked him (Rakesh) to be removed from the booth, otherwise not Will vote for Jansatta Dal and neither will be able to occupy booth in their presence.
He further alleged that after sometime Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya along with Subhash Singh, Gopal Kesarwani and 15 of his supporters reached the booth and forcibly took them away from the booth premises.
The complainant further alleged that Raja Bhaiya along with his supporters not only thrashed him but also threatened him with dire consequences.
The complainant claimed that he had a video of the attack and alleged that Raja Bhaiya was in the vehicle present at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, the SP candidate from Kunda Assembly has been booked under IPC sections 452 (theft, assault or house-trespass after preparing to wrongfully restrain), 380 (theft), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 427 (causing harm). Vijay Pratap Singh, in his FIR, alleged that SP candidate Gulshan Yadav along with 30-35 others reached his house at around 10:45 am on Sunday when he was sitting on the verandah of the house. The SP candidate threatened him if he did not vote in his favor.
When the complainant claimed that the voters of the village were free to cast their votes, the SP candidate lost his cool and threatened dire consequences.
He also alleged that the SP candidate and his supporters not only vandalized household items but also damaged photographs of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that the accused had insulted the pictures of the CM and the PM. The accused also took away several items.
He also claimed that the villagers gathered outside his house after hearing the cries but the accused managed to escape from the spot.
