UP under PM Modi is moving from “Bimaru” to G20 lead: UP CM Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh) [India]Jan 22 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday attended the State BJP Working Committee meeting held in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow.

Speaking on the recent Gujarat elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “BJP’s historic victory in Gujarat has inspired us and infused a new spirit in us”.

The BJP swept the Gujarat Assembly elections, winning 156 of the 182 assembly seats, the largest number of seats won by any party since the state’s formation in 1960.

He also showed confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that India will become the fourth largest economic superpower in the world under the leadership of PM Modi.

“Under the leadership of PM Modi, India got the chairmanship of G20 and now India will get an opportunity to show its potential to the world. It is our good fortune that a state like UP will also get a chance to be a part of the G20 Summit.

The CM announced on Saturday that UP will celebrate its foundation day on 24 January. The series of programs will start from the foundation day and will continue till February 15. On this occasion, every district will be connected with these programmes. All the events of the G-20 conference will continue till August.

On Saturday, the CM also laid the foundation stone of the G-20 Multi Purpose Sports Hall at KD Singh Babu Stadium to be built at a cost of Rs 519 lakh. On this occasion, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak handed over the flag with G-20 logo to the Chief Minister.

Speaking on the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the UP CM said, “Har Ghar Tiranga campaign by PM Modi has connected 140 crore Indians and shown what ‘Azadi’ is all about”.

Yogi Adityanath said that 1.61 crore jobs have been created in Uttar Pradesh in the last 5 years.

He said, “Because of the security and good governance model established in the state, all the big investors of the world now want to invest in Uttar Pradesh and because of this 1.61 crore jobs have been created in 5 years.”

He said, “Uttar Pradesh has become an exporting state today from being called Bimaru state.”

Bharatiya Janata Party’s one-day State Working Committee meeting today, in which 700 workers and office bearers participated, many issues of the state were discussed, be it the upcoming elections or the economic system of the country and the state, or the security arrangements in the State Working Committee meeting, Every issue was discussed.
