More off-road specific version of KTM 390 Adventure Caught while testing in India. Dubbed as KTM 390 Adventure Rally, the brand may offer an updated version of the adventure motorcycle targeted at a more off-road loving customer base. The camouflage test mule was spotted testing in Assam, and it looks like the bike may be winter tested in some harsh conditions in the next few days. There are a lot of upgrades on the test bike to talk about, as compared to the 390 Adventure currently on sale.

The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure also gets a high-mounted front beak and knobby tyres
The updated KTM 390 Adventure Rally variant has got a new look. The headlamp assembly has been moved upwards and looks like it has been inspired by KTM’s Dakar machines. The front cowl has also grown in size with a taller windscreen, while the TFT instrument console is placed upwards and will be easier to read than before while on the go. The handlebar seems to have moved slightly up and closer to the rider than before.
Other bits including the fuel tank, seat and tail section remain the same. We could probably see an improvement in the cushioning. Mechanically too, the KTM 390 Adventure will draw on a 373 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine making 43 bhp and 37 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets WP sourced USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, while braking performance comes from disc brakes at either end and dual-channel ABS with Supermoto option. It is unclear whether KTM will update the 390 Adventure Rally with more suspension travel than the standard version.

The KTM 390 Adventure Rally is likely to arrive in late 2022 or 2023.
The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure is sometime away from its market debut and is likely to arrive by the end of 2022 or in 2023. The motorcycle will also be in for a refreshment in the global market since its global debut in 2019. Considering that the 390 Adventure is currently priced at ₹3.28 lakh, expect the Rally variant to earn a premium of around ₹3.4 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). This model will remain in India for the domestic and global markets.
