Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) The e-admit card of Civil Services Examination (CSE) Main 2021 has been released on 16 December. Candidates who have qualified the preliminary exam can download their main hall ticket online at the official website upsc.gov.in. Admit card will be available till 16 January 2022.
UPSC CSE Mains will be conducted on January 7, 8, 9, 15 and 16. Candidates must download their admit cards before the exam as without it they will not be allowed to enter the exam center. Here’s how to download the e-admit card.

UPSC CSE Main 2021 E-Admit Card: How to Download
Step 1. Visit the official website of UPSC
Step 2. Click on UPSC CSE Main 2021 Admit Card link on the homepage
Step 3. Login using your Registration Number and Date of Birth
Step 4. Your UPSC CSE Main Admit Card will appear on the screen
Step 5. Download and take a print out of the e-admit card for further use

The admit card will contain the exam center and timing of the candidate. They must carefully check all the details like their name, roll number, exam name and other details in the hall ticket. In case of any discrepancy, candidates should immediately inform the commission.
While going to the examination hall, along with the print out of the admit card, candidates have to carry the photo identity card issued by the government such as voter card or aadhar card.
UPSC CSE Main 2021: Exam Pattern
There will be a total of nine papers in UPSC CSE Main 2021, out of which two will be for qualifying (A and B) and seven others for merit. Language based qualifying papers will be conducted for a duration of three hours each. The General Studies papers will also be of three hours each and will have an optional paper, the subject of which will be chosen by the candidates themselves. Those selected in the main round will be called for interview.
