UPTET 2021 today, exam guidelines, covid-19 protocol to follow

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 is being held today on 23rd January. The candidates appearing for the exam today are expected to follow the guidelines issued earlier by the state government and examination authorities. They will further be provided with free bus facility to reach the examination center by showing their admit card.

The exam is being conducted in two shifts – primary level exam from 10 AM to 12:30 PM and upper primary exam from 2:30 PM to 5 PM. Fresh admit cards have also been provided to the candidates. exam is being conducted Tight arrangements and tight security compared to last time.

Due to a paper leak, UPTET 2021 was canceled and rescheduled on November 28. This time too many exam venues have been changed. This time the rules have been made stricter so that there is no case of copying or paper leak. In addition, candidates are required to follow the COVID-19 protocol at each test centre.

UPTET 2021: Admit Card

Candidates have to reach the exam center on time mentioned on their admit card. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after the given time. They must carry their admit card, without which they will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. They will also have to carry a government-issued identity card such as a voter or Aadhar card.

UPTET 2021: Guidelines to follow, prohibited items

Candidates are not allowed to carry digital clocks, formula tables, paper sheets or other electronic devices inside the examination hall.

Any candidate found using unfair means will be disqualified from the examination. Candidates are not allowed to talk or ask anything to other candidates under any circumstances.

No additional time will be given to the candidates to complete their paper. They are not allowed to do rough work on any paper other than the one provided at the examination centre.

More than 22 lakh candidates had registered for the exam. Out of the total, 13.52 lakh will appear for the primary level (classes 1 to 5) exam, while 8.93 lakh candidates will appear for the upper primary (class 6 to 8) exam. Those who pass the exam will be eligible to apply for teacher jobs in schools under the UP government. The OMR sheet will be available on the official website on January 27 and the result will be declared by February 25 as per the official schedule.
