US woman gives birth to baby in McDonald’s bathroom, calls him “Little Nugget”

The couple went to McDonald’s for a bathroom break on their way to the hospital.

A pregnant woman and her fiancé were on their way to a hospital when she gave birth with the help of McDonald’s restaurant staff in the United States. new york post informed of.

According to the outlet, parents Alessandria Worth and Deandre Phillips were on their way to an Atlanta hospital on Nov. 23 when they stopped at a McDonald’s for a quick bathroom break.

She was shocked when manager Tunisia Woodward entered the restroom. The manager said Ms. Worth was screaming because her water had broken.

The Post reports, “I’m going into labor. Somebody get this guy in the car.” The manager then called on co-workers Shakeria Cagler and Keisha Blu-Murray to help deliver the baby girl.

One of the co-workers called 911 and another helped the father-to-be, who realized his little girl was about to be delivered at the restaurant. “The women from McDonald’s were in front of him, holding his hands,” Phillips told the Post.

“I held her legs on my knees. We told her to do three push-ups,” he continued.

Nandi Ariyah Moremi Phillips was delivered in good shape in less than 15 minutes. She was given the nickname “Little Nugget”. According to the outlet, both mother and child are doing well.

Manager Woodward told The Post, “We’re all mums, and so we put our heads together, and all we had to do was get the daddy to hold the baby – and he did.”

According to the outlet, franchise owner Steve Akinborough said he is giving the staff members who assisted in the birth $250 gift cards each. “We don’t just serve food. We try to serve feel-good moments every day and this really epitomized feel-good moments for my team,” he added.
