The Union Territory on Saturday reported five new COVID-19 cases from 329 persons tested positive. Of the fresh cases detected, four are from Puducherry and one from Mahe region. According to the data released by the health department, with three persons recovering, the active cases in the union territory stood at 13.
All 13 cases are in home isolation. The data showed that 1,962 people lost their lives and 1,65,771 people got infected with the virus in the Union Territory.
