The Uttarakhand Teachers Eligibility Test (UTET) 2024 registration concludes today, August 17. Interested and eligible candidates have the last chance to apply for the exam through the official websiteukutet.com. As per the schedule, the deadline for payment of fees is August 19.

The application correction window will be open from August 20 to August 22. The exam is scheduled to be held on October 26 in two sessions. Paper I will be conducted from 10 am to 12:30 pm, whereas Paper II will be administered from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

UTET 2024: Eligibility Criteria

For UTET 2024 Paper I: Candidates must have at least passed Class 12 along with a degree or diploma in Education.

For UTET 2024 Paper II: The applicant must have completed Graduation and a degree in education.

UTET 2024: How to Apply

Step 1: Head to the official website,ukutet.com.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the New Registration link.

Step 3: Fill in the application form and submit all the required documents.

Step 4: Deposit the application fee and click on submit.

Step 5: Download and save the form for future reference.

UTET 2024: Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categoriesneed topay an application fee of Rs 600 if applying only for Paper I. For both Paper I and II, they need to pay a fee of Rs 1,000. Aspirants from the SC, ST and PwD categoriesneed topay Rs 300 for Paper I and Rs 500 for both Paper I and Paper II.

UTET 2024: Exam Pattern

Paper I(Primary Teachers-Class 1 to 5): The exam comprises 150 MCQ-based questions from different sections including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1 (Hindi/English), Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.

Paper II(Upper Primary Teachers- Class 6 to 8): Paper II will comprise 150 MCQ-based questions from four categories: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1 (Hindi/English), Language 2 and Mathematics and Science or Social Studies.

The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) is an eligibility test administered by the Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) forcandidates who wish to teach classes 1-8.
