Significance of Utpanna Ekadashi

The importance of inheritance is mentioned in several Hindu texts such as the Bhavishyottara Purana, which exists in the form of a conversation where King Yudhishthira is involved with Lord Krishna. The significance of the festival is similar to that of ‘Sankranti’, where devotees attach great importance to the acts of charity. Aay Ekadashi fast story

There was a demon named Mur who spread terror with his evil deeds and spread fear among all the three people. The powers and wrongdoings of the demon Moor caused great fear to all the worlds and they approached Lord Vishnu for help. Then Lord Vishnu fought with him for hundreds of years. Meanwhile due to fatigue Lord Vishnu wanted to take some rest, so he entered and went there. Child’s name was Himavati. At that time the demon Moor thought of killing Lord Vishnu. At that very moment a beautiful woman appeared and killed the demon after a long fight. At that time when Lord Vishnu woke up, he was shocked to see the dead body of the demon.
