Uttar Pradesh: 5 killed in fierce bus-truck collision in Ayodhya | Description

Uttar PradeshAt least 5 people died in a horrific road accident in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on Friday when a bus collided with a truck. During this, about a dozen injured people were admitted to the hospital.

According to sources, the accident happened near booth number four on the Lucknow-Gorakhpur highway. The private bus was going from Lucknow to Ambedkar Nagar. The accident was so dangerous that the bus got buried under the truck.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Expressed grief over the loss of lives in the accident, his office said in a tweet in Hindi. The Chief Minister also directed the district administration to immediately take the injured to the hospital and provide them proper treatment.

Earlier on Saturday (April 15), a major accident took place in Shahjahanpur, UP itself when a tractor-trolley overturned. Many people including women and children had died in this accident. During this, many were also seriously injured.

The accident was so severe that the railing of the tractor-trolley bridge broke and fell down. All these devotees had come to fill water in the Garra river. The incident took place near Birsingpur village of Thana Tilhar area.
