Kanpur: A maths teacher was beaten up Death By some unknown assailants in Mohalla Rajendra Nagar Jalaun On Friday night, the district attackers used an iron rod to kill the teacher.
Police said that the miscreants had reached the teacher’s house by bike. He knocked on the door first. As soon as the teacher came out, the attackers hit her on the head with an iron rod. The teacher died due to excessive bleeding.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Kotwali police reached the spot along with forensic experts. Later, top police officers including SP Jalaun also investigated the spot. The identity of the attackers is yet to be ascertained.
Police said 65-year-old Narvada lived with his family in the Rajendra Nagar Hanuman Mandir area. He used to run coaching classes in Maths subject.
“Friday night around 12 o’clock two youths came to his house on a bike. He opened the door and went inside the hall. The youths also followed him till the hall, later the youths attacked him repeatedly with iron rods. Narvada was seriously injured and fell on the floor. Hearing the commotion, the family members ran to the hall, but by then the accused had fled the spot. Seeing Narvada covered in blood, he raised the alarm and alerted his neighbours, who after informing the police control room took him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead,” the police said.
In the preliminary investigation, it has come to the notice that the students of the coaching have killed their teacher.
SP Ravi Kumar said, “Police is trying to trace the killers with the help of CCTV footage installed in the area.” He said the incident was being investigated and the killers would be arrested soon. Four teams have been formed to nab the attackers.
