Bijnor: Security has been provided to a family after they received death threats for distributing the tricolor in the district. bijnorpolice said on Monday.
Outside the residence of Shashi and her husband Arun, an unknown person pasted a letter threatening to distribute the flag, Additional Superintendent of Police, Praveen Ranjan Singh Told.
The incident is from Baddupada area of Kiratpur area.
FIR has been registered under Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the matter is being investigated.
