The Uttarakhand government has directed liquor shops to remain open 24 hours from December 30, 2022, to January 2, 2023, to accommodate tourists.

Foreign liquor can be served from 12 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays, and until 12 noon on Saturdays, except Saturdays. It has been decided to keep the liquor shops open till the time limit fixed by the tourism agency.
