Idli is a South Indian dish that has become a favorite among people for breakfast. Not only is it extremely healthy and tasty, but it is also quick to prepare. Take normal rice batter and steam it for few minutes in a normal mold to prepare soft and fluffy idlis which can be added with chutney, sambhar or whatever. Venkaiah Naidu recently took to Twitter to share his experience of trying Bajra Idli – a healthier version of Idli which he highly recommended. “Had a sumptuous breakfast of Bajra Idli made by ‘Vasena Poli’ stall run by a young agri-entrepreneur Chittam Sudhir in Visakhapatnam today,” read the tweet from the official handle of Vice. President’s Some pictures of idli were also shared in the Secretariat tweet. Delicious Bajra Idli steamed in banana leaves and paired with two different types of coconut chutney.
Indian VP M. Venkaiah Naidu praised everyone for the healthy breakfast prepared by the young entrepreneur. “With a rich taste and flavour, millet based food provides a healthy and organic alternative to our diet,” he said in his tweet. He also wrote in the same thread, “Such innovative efforts by our youth to go back to their traditional diet and lifestyle are commendable.”
Twitter users were also desperate to see it Vice Presidents Healthy Breakfast. Many of them wanted to taste the delicious Bajra Idli themselves. Others wanted it to encourage even more entrepreneurs who are working towards providing healthy food and preserving traditional cuisine.
