except WashimAll other districts recorded more cases than Tuesday. On Wednesday, the region recorded 4,074 cases and 7,350 recoveries. There were 13 deaths – Nagpur (7), Gadcholi (1), Wardha (3) and Akola (2). The deaths have come down by three since Monday.
The recovery rate continued to increase, although only by a few decimal points. There has been a slight decline in the death rate.
In Nagpur district, six people died in the city and one victim was from the outer district. The 1,859 cases include 1,020 from the city, 728 from the rural and 111 from the outer district. More than 4,100 were cured in a day. The district conducted 8,942 tests.
Wardha: The death toll has risen to 1,340 with three more deaths. Out of 1,359 tests, 363 new cases were reported in the district, while 128 patients were cured. There are 2,768 active cases.
Chandrapur: Active cases came down to 1,976 with 206 cases as against 739 cured on Wednesday. The district conducted 1,329 tests.
Amravati: The district saw 241 cases after 1,142 tests, while 505 were cured. There are 2,098 active cases.
Yavatmal: There are 1,702 active cases. Of the 1,156 tests, 167 came back positive. 203 were also cured in the day.
Bhandara: Out of over 1,700 tests, 300 cases were reported in the district, while 191 were cured, while 1,622 were active cases.
Gondia: 131 cases were found in the district. There are over 929 active cases after 362 were cured on Wednesday.
Akola: A 30-year-old liver patient and a 55-year-old woman with severe liver disease passed away. 320 were cured and 392 cases were reported. The active cases are 2,666.
Gadchiroli: A 65-year-old patient of high BP died. 264 new cases were registered in the district and 181 were cured.
Buldhana: After the arrival of 338 new cases in the district, there are 3,387 active cases so far while 266 patients have been discharged. It conducted 2,254 tests in the last 24 hours.
Washim: 83 cases and 225 cured in the district.
