The Congress today staged a nationwide protest outside LIC offices demanding a joint parliamentary committee probe into the Hindenburg Report into alleged wrongdoings by the Adani group, following which the group’s shares fell. The Congress alleged that the Center had forced nationalized banks and LIC to invest in the Adani group. The Adani Group and the Center have denied all the allegations.
