The main opposition BJP in Karnataka is protesting both inside and outside the corridors of power at Vidhana Soudha against the failure of the Congress to implement its poll promises. The BJP is demanding the effective implementation of the pre-poll guarantees of the Congress without any conditions. While Bommai’s camp is protesting the elected MLAs inside the assembly, BS Yediyurappa’s camp is protesting at the iconic Freedom Park in Bengaluru. The Congress says that this is the BJP’s way of diverting attention from the issue of joining the assembly without the leader of the opposition.
