video | In Kashmir, crores of PM CARES ventilators fail tests

More than 100 ventilators supplied under PM CARES Fund in J&K have been found to be faulty and “unfit for critical care” during testing. The ventilators supplied to the Government Medical College in Srinagar were manufactured by three different companies. According to doctors, trial runs are not done on every machine. For every company, tests are conducted on certain machines to check the quality. The government said an inquiry would be ordered to fix the responsibility.
